Day 4

Jan 10, 2026

"You make known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand." Psalms 16:11 NIV

Something everybody wants is a life that is steady in joy and faith that is unshakable. It starts in one place–in the presence of God. Before you build a schedule, your priorities, or your goals, you must build your life around Him. The world starts its day with hustle, urgency, or productivity, but scripture teaches us the opposite. Your strength doesn't come from more accomplishments or more striving, but it comes from being with Jesus.

David reminds us that everything we are looking for, joy, direction, peace, and clarity, is found in God's presence. You will not find it in success, in control, or in people's approval. It's found when you slow down long enough to be still with the One who created you.

When God's presence becomes your first place, everything else finds its right place. Anxiety loses its grip. Fear loses its volume. Decisions can gain clarity. You can stop reacting to life and start being led by God. Ultimately, you cannot build a God-centered life without choosing God first. Make His presence your priority, and you will discover the life your heart has been searching for.

Today:

• Give God the first minutes of your day

• Practice stillness—even if it's only for five minutes.

• Create an intentional moment with His presence

• Notice what changes when He comes first— pay attention to your peace, patience, and clarity when you stay aware of His presence.
