Day 20
"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:18 NIV
So many people spend their lives building things that won't last, like careers, positions, and comfort. None of these things is wrong, but none of them is eternal. If you build your life on what is temporary, your impact will be temporary, but if you build your life on what is eternal, your impact will echo long after you're gone.
Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians that what we see in this world comes to an end. Seasons change. Success fades, but the unseen work of God, like your character, your generosity, and your love, will endure forever.
Don't invest in a kingdom that ends. You were made to build a legacy that lasts.
Every conversation, every act of kindness, every sacrifice, and every prayer contributes to something eternal. You may never know on this side of heaven how God will use your faithfulness to impact others, but as Christians, eternity is not just our destination, it's our direction. When you live with heaven on your mind, you make decisions that matter on earth.
What you build with God will go further than you ever imagined
Today:
• Identify a temporary pursuit that has taken too much priority
• Shift your focus today
• Reorder your heart— pray: "God help me live for what lasts, not just for today."
• Let heaven shape how you live your life
