My name is Melissa Spann, and it is my joy and privilege to serve as the Director of Countryside Christian Preschool. For nearly 18 years, Countryside Christian has been my home. During that time, I have been blessed to build relationships with countless children and families, and I am honored to serve our preschool community in this role.

Countryside Christian Preschool opened in 2000 with a heart for providing children with a strong educational foundation in a loving, Christ-centered environment. What began as a preschool for three- and four-year-olds has grown over the years to serve children beginning in infancy. Through every season of growth, our commitment has remained the same: to provide a safe and nurturing place where children are known, loved, and encouraged to become all God created them to be.

I hold a Florida Director Credential and degrees in both Finance and Education. While my education and experience have helped prepare me to lead, I believe the greatest qualification for working with young children is having a heart that truly loves them.

My desire is for every child who walks through our doors to feel safe, valued, encouraged, and deeply loved. As a Christian preschool, our purpose extends beyond preparing children for kindergarten. We want to help each child grow in faith, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning while experiencing the love of Christ each day.

Our dedicated teachers and staff work hard to create nurturing classrooms where children can learn, explore, build meaningful relationships, and thrive. We consider it a tremendous privilege to partner with parents during these important early years.
