Day 14

Jan 20, 2026

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires." Galatians 5:22-24 NIV

God is not impressed by your talent, title, or achievements— what God is looking for is character: who you are when no one sees you, who you are under pressure, and who you are when no one else is around. God doesn't look at the outside. He looks at the heart.

Galatians 5 reminds us that godly character isn't something we force. It's something that the Holy Spirit produces in us. Fruit grows where roots are healthy. If you stay connected to God, His character begins to show up in your life. What you will see is love, where there used to be anger, peace, where there used to be anxiety; and patience, where there used to be frustration.

Character is the invisible strength that holds up your visible life. It's the victories that no one sees that protect your public influence. It's choosing integrity when compromise would be easier. It's serving when no one thanks you. It's doing the right thing even when it costs you something.

Strong character always builds a strong life—one God can trust, people can follow, and storms cannot shake.

Today:

• Ask yourself what the fruit is that I need the most

• Ask the Holy Spirit to grow that fruit in you

• Choose one character action today— respond gently in a moment of conflict, show kindness to someone overlooked, practice self-control when tempted.

• What part of your character is God inviting you to strengthen as He builds your life
