Day 13

Jan 19, 2026

"If you love me, keep my commands." John 14:15 NIV

Good intentions can inspire you for a season, but only obedience can truly transform you. You can want to change, grow, or follow Jesus, but until you act on what He says, your life stays the same. Jesus doesn't separate love from obedience. He says If you love me, follow me. Obedience is love expressed.

Obedience isn't about earning God's approval—you already have that. It's about aligning your life with His wisdom so you can experience His best. When God asks you to step out in faith, He's not trying to restrict you. He's trying to build you.

Sometimes obedience feels costly in the moment, but it always produces strength in the long run. Every step of obedience lays another brick in the life God is building. Partial obedience is still disobedience. Delayed obedience is still disobedience, but immediate obedience opens the door for God to move.

You don't have to understand everything God is doing to obey Him. You can just trust His heart. When you choose obedience, you're choosing a life that stands tomorrow.

Today:

• Identify one area of your life where you've delayed obedience

• Take one obedience step today— do the next right thing.

• Pray for strength over your struggle
