Day 10

Jan 17, 2025

I'll never forget when a pastor asked this question during a sermon–He asked “what about them?”

He wasn’t talking about people in the church. He was talking about the people outside of it.

Sometimes in our Christian walk we can get stuck in our Christian bubble that we forget about THEM. Thank God that we have been enlightened for the truth of Jesus but I want to ask you… What about them?

They are hurting. They are searching. They are looking for hope. They are walking down a broad road that leads to destruction. We have what they are looking for.. His name is Jesus!

Evangelism is the heart of the great commission, where Jesus calls us to share the good news of his love and salvation with the world. As Christians, we are not only recipients of his grace, but also ambassadors tasked with spreading that grace to others.

Reflection:

- Who in your life needs to hear the Good News of Jesus?

- How can you build relationships with those who may be far from God?

- What gifts or experiences can you use to share your faith in a relatable way?

Action Step:

Pray for opportunities to share your faith with someone this week. Consider writing down three people you want to reach out to, and think of a specific way you can engage with them—whether it’s inviting them to church, having a meaningful conversation, or simply expressing your faith through kindness.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for the gift of salvation and the calling to share Your love with others. Give me the courage and wisdom to be an effective witness for You. Help me to see the opportunities around me to share my faith and to build genuine relationships with those who don’t know You. Remind me that I am not alone in this mission, and help me to trust in Your guidance as I go forth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Bible Verses:

Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
