Marketing Coordinator (Part-Time)

Up to 29 hours per week

Position Overview
Countryside Christian Church is seeking a part-time Marketing Coordinator to support the execution of weekly communications, marketing campaigns, and creative projects across multiple campuses and ministries. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, creative, and tech-comfortable, with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. The Marketing Coordinator will assist in bringing ideas to life through digital content, design, and communication support, helping ensure everything is accurate, on-brand, and delivered on time. This position works closely with the Communications Director and plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day marketing and communication needs of the church.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Communication Support
  • Assist in building and updating website pages (Subsplash platform)
  • Upload and organize sermon content, events, and media
  • Help schedule and send push notifications and app content
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency across digital platforms
Graphic Design & Creative Production
  • Create and edit graphics for:
    • Events
    • Social media
    • Print materials (postcards, signage, weekend guides)
  • Resize, reformat, and prepare artwork for different platforms
  • Ensure designs follow brand guidelines and are production-ready
Event & Campaign Support
  • Assist in executing marketing campaigns for church events
  • Help prepare promotional materials and timelines
  • Maintain details such as service times, locations, and messaging
  • Support cross-campus communication consistency
Social Media & Digital Marketing Assistance
  • Help prepare content for social media posts and ads
  • Assist with Meta (Facebook)‚ YouTube, Spotify, and updates
  • Support ongoing campaign updates and creative swaps
Administrative & Organizational Support
  • Manage and organize digital files, assets, and templates
  • Track project progress and assist with deadlines
  • Communicate with internal teams to gather needed information
  • Help maintain a structured and efficient workflow
What This Role Is (Important Clarity)
This position is not expected to:
  • Lead marketing strategy
  • Build complex ad campaigns from scratch
  • Manage advanced systems independently
This role does require:

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Basic experience with graphic design (or strong willingness to learn)
  • Familiarity with computers, web platforms, and digital tools
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Good communication and follow-through
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to support writing, brainstorming, and content development as part of daily workflow
Preferred (But Not Required)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic advertising
  • Experience working with websites or content management systems
  • Interest in marketing, communications, or media
